Easter Weekend
On Saturday my mom, Luke and I went to the movie theatre to watch "Heaven if for Real". My mom and I read the book and it was such a sweet and amazing book. The movie was really good but there were several things in the movie that were very different from the book. I'm still really glad we went to see it though and I'll definitely watch it again.
The Easter Bunny always comes to my parents' house and these are the goodies he left for Luke and me and my brother and his wife and their children.
We had Easter dinner at my parents' cabin which is behind their house.
My niece and nephew had a blast with their Easter egg hunt. My brother and sister-in-law actually had to hide the eggs twice because once just wasn't enough for the kids. :)
My dad had to help my niece a little bit. ;)
We didn't take Izzy's Easter gift with us so she had to wait until we got back home to get it. I also kind of teased her with it while we took pictures of her and the new toy but she forgave me. She was about to have a fit to play with it. :)
I hope you all had a great weekend too!!!

Happy Friday!!!
By the way, Kimberly has an online boutique called Macy Jean Boutique. I love it! I told her I was going to get myself in trouble if she kept posting pictures of all of her boutique's beautiful spring clothes! You've got to go check out Macy Jean Boutique on Facebook!!
Have a great weekend and a very Happy Easter!!!!

Luke's Newest Cocktail
I have to admit I was a little surprised by the tartness of this drink because originally, Luke talked about making a fruity rum drink. However, we didn't have the fruit or the juice he needed so he decided on a margarita-like drink. When I took my first sip, I was still expecting a sweet, fruity drink but that wasn't what I got. Once I realized he'd had to change his recipe, I took another sip and really liked it because it's a lot like a margarita and I LOVE margaritas!!! ;)
Per serving:
2 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
2 oz. of tequila
1 tbsp. agave nectar
6 frozen mango chunks
3 fresh raspberries
Pour the lemon juice, pineapple juice, tequila and agave nectar into a shaker and shake to combine. Luke poured the mixture into a glass and then added the mango chunks and raspberries into the drink. You may want to add the fruit to the glass and then pour the drink over the fruit to prevent the drink from splattering.
Enjoy! :)
